Carte Blanche Debuts Collaboration with Australian-Born, Paris-Based Designer Vanessa Cocchiaro
Melbourne based wedding dress studio Carte Blanche Bride has launched a collaboration with French designer Vanessa Cocchiaro, showcasing her eponymous brand to the Australian market.
Carte Blanche, located in the Melbourne suburb of Malvern, founded by Anastasia Tushuizen, exclusively stocks a refined selection of bespoke French-designed, French-made wedding dresses and offers a bespoke shopping experience to unique women looking to celebrate their personality through their wedding dress choice. The studio
Vanessa Cocchiaro (Australian-born, currently based in Paris) is renowned for her contemporary, easy-to-wear wedding garments and is releasing her designs to Australia for the first time.
Both Carte Blanche and Vanessa Cocchiaro have noted the significant changes within the wedding industry brought on by evolving ideas around marriage as a whole and the disruptive effect of the COVID-19 pandemic. Couples have adapted their ideas towards how a wedding 'should look', and new ways of doing things are constantly emerging.
"The collection includes dresses in short and longer lengths, as well as elegant jumpsuits and separates. These pieces refresh traditional expectations of what a bride must look like on her wedding day and reinforce Carte Blanche's values of catering to each person's individual needs and tastes", says Anastasia of Carte Blanche.
For those based around Australia and New Zealand, the collection will also be available for purchase online (CLICK HERE) throughout the collaboration and will be available in-store from September 4th 2021.
