New Editorial: “Blue Reverie” at The Jackson Ranch by Bannisters
Blue Reverie is a quiet exploration of modern wedding romance, unfolding through soft structure, tactile detail and the calming hues of the South Coast.
Set against the sweeping landscape of The Jackson Ranch, the editorial feels both grounded and refined, where blue tones, muted textures and sculptural florals sit effortlessly within their natural surroundings.
For stylist Eliska Lam of Ruffles & Bells, blue became more than a colour choice; it became the language of the editorial. Chalky blues were layered with warm brown tones and softened by subtle silver accents, creating a palette that feels romantic yet considered. Every element was intentionally chosen, from wardrobe and props through to styling and composition, allowing colour to act as a storytelling device rather than a statement.
A curved table layout introduced movement and connection, encouraging intimacy, while sculptural florals and tactile materials such as woven rattan added depth and warmth.
The result is an editorial that feels quietly luxurious and artfully restrained, celebrating how thoughtful design and refined creativity can exist in perfect harmony with nature at its most beautiful.
