"My work uses a combination of organic and industrial shapes with a sculptural focus," L.L. tells us. "With a background in printmaking and a love of architecture, I have come to see jewellery-making as a medium that allows me to incorporate both these aesthetics."
Taking an eco approach, L.L. tells us, "I am committed to creating products with minimal impact on the environment. I try to consider the environmental ramifications of each aspect of my business from materials and equipment to the products I use to clean my studio. However, I believe 'ethically-produced' must also encompass how we treat our fellow humans.” Since first opening in 2010, LOLiDE has made it a priority to provide gender-neutral and gender-defying options for everyone, motivated by their own personal experience struggling with our culture's labels and gender stereotypes.
