Classically cool. Romantic. Naturally editorial.I’m Dinorah Ávila, a wedding photographer and filmmaker based in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. My work blends editorial aesthetics, romantic storytelling, and documentary sensibility to create imagery that feels intimate, artful, and deeply personal.

Behind Dinorah Ávila Weddings is a close-knit creative team united by a shared vision. My wife, Alma, is a wedding photographer with an editorial background and my closest creative collaborator. My sister, Sofía, known as Dulce o Truco, leads our cinematography alongside her husband, Fernando, also a filmmaker. Erick, Zoé, and Mario complete our team, bringing their individual talents and perspectives to every celebration we document.

Beyond my work as an artist, I’m an educator within Mexico’s wedding industry and a queer wedding educator, advocating for greater visibility, representation, and inclusion. Our entire team stands as an ally to the queer community, and we believe that documenting love also means creating spaces where every couple feels seen, respected, and celebrated.

Through photography and film, we aim to preserve not only how a wedding looks, but how it feels. From intimate elopements to destination celebrations, our purpose is to tell honest, timeless stories while contributing to a wedding industry that embraces individuality and makes room for every expression of love.
