Hello, I'm James Bennett, a wedding photographer based in Lake Macquarie NSW, servicing Newcastle, Sydney and beyond.
It's truly humbling to have the opportunity to share in the joy and love of couples on their special day. With a focus on both editorial and photojournalistic styles, I strive to capture the authentic emotions and precious moments that make weddings so unique.
Despite having shot nearly 1000 weddings, dozens of editorials and even scored a magazine cover or two, I am continually reminded of how much room there is to learn and to grow creatively. Every wedding brings new challenges and inspirations, pushing me to refine my skills and deliver the best possible results for my clients.
While I do work with the latest digital cameras, I also have a deep appreciation for the artistry and nostalgic feel of older analogue film cameras. Their inherent character and charm add an extra layer of depth to the images I create, preserving memories in a truly timeless manner.
