Robert & Rakeem: A Love Story in Venice
Robert and Rakeem travelled from Colorado to Venice with a simple vision: a wedding day that felt entirely their own. Romantic, private and unapologetically luxurious, it would be a celebration of love set against one of the world's most beautiful cities.

Their day began within the grandeur of Ca’ Sagredo, where the couple prepared in the hotel’s magnificent Royal Suite. From the very first moments, there was an unmistakable sense of emotion between them, the quiet anticipation of two people about to step into a new chapter together.
Before the celebrations unfolded, Robert and Rakeem took to the streets of Venice. Wandering through its narrow passageways, beside its canals and beneath its centuries-old architecture, they experienced the city together; unhurried, joyful and completely caught up in the moment.
For their vows, however, they chose something even more intimate.
On the majestic staircase of Ca’ Sagredo, with no guests and no audience, Robert and Rakeem stood face to face and exchanged the words they had written just for one another. It was one of those rare moments when the world seemed to fall away, leaving only the two of them.
Afterwards came portraits throughout the palazzo, and naturally, a spritz or two before the evening's celebrations began.
Dinner was held in the spectacular Sala della Musica, where an intimate mirrored table was dressed with flickering candles and sculptural white orchids. Surrounded by frescoed walls and the grandeur of the historic hall, the setting felt both theatrical and deeply personal.
The couple’s closest friend joined them for an intimate celebration filled with speeches, laughter and more than a few happy tears. It was relaxed, joyful and full of the kind of warmth that can only come from celebrating with the people who know you best.
And because this was Venice, the night could only end one way.
Together, they made their way through the city to Piazza San Marco, embracing the magic of Venice after dark and, of course, stopping for a few wonderfully dramatic, paparazzi-style photographs along the way.
For Robert and Rakeem, their wedding was never about following tradition for tradition’s sake. It was about creating a day that felt like them: passionate, joyful, beautifully indulgent and entirely unforgettable.
