Leonidas Trapotsis is the founder and creative director of Onar Events, a London-based boutique studio shaping destination weddings and experiential gatherings across the UK and Greece, throughout Europe, and in international locations including Sri Lanka. Constantly exploring new cultural contexts, his work moves fluidly between intimate celebrations and immersive event formats.
Born in Greece and shaped by a life lived between cultures, Leonidas brings a refined sensitivity to heritage, place, and atmosphere, translating these influences into a contemporary approach to event design. His practice balances strategic precision with imaginative storytelling, guided by a deep understanding of how environments, traditions, and human connection shape meaningful experiences.
The name Onar — derived from the ancient Greek word for “dream” — reflects a philosophy rooted not in fantasy, but in intentional vision: the belief that gatherings can become powerful expressions of identity when approached with care, structure, and emotional intelligence. With a background spanning hospitality, logistics, retail environments, and most recently advanced academic study in Event Experience Management, Leonidas approaches each project as both a creative and cultural endeavour.
His work feels contemporary yet soulful, informed by empathy, cultural nuance, and an appreciation for the quiet beauty found in thoughtful design. For Leonidas, every event is an opportunity to create meaning — shaping experiences that resonate beyond the moment and leave a lasting emotional imprint.
