Explain to us the process of creating wedding stationery?

We encourage couples to get in touch with us as soon as they have a wedding date locked in. All our stationery can be designed bespoke to suit our clients and "Save the Dates" have become more essential than ever in 2021.

We love nothing more than to create something bespoke for couples, something that speaks to them as a couple in terms of their style and will set the tone for their event to come. We start by getting to know our couples and finding out more about their wedding details, this helps us to design the initial concepts, from here we develop the design until the client is completely happy with every detail and then we go print.

What are the different printing methods, and what do you personally recommend?

We work within all budgets. This can range from cost-effective digital printing to luxurious letterpress and foil finishes. Our motto is less is more. Our focus is on quality printing, refined typography and card stocks.

Digital Printing: By far the most economical option, digital printing is flat laser printing with minimal setup and a quick turnaround.

Letterpress: The traditional method of printing using a metal plate to transfer the ink onto paper leaving behind a luxurious indentation.

Embossing & Debossing; Like letterpress, this method requires metal plates that are pressed into the paper however no ink is used. The result is a beautiful blind raised or indented impression. Can be done for large text or illustrative elements of the design.

Foil Printing; The decadent metallic finishes are created by pressing foil into the paper using a hot foiling machine. This method also uses custom metal plates and the options for foil colours go far and beyond just gold or silver.

Are all your designs fully customisable?

While we have existing designs on our website, our focus and passion is in the bespoke and unique. We love to evolve and create new designs based on our client's desires and overall vision for their wedding.

What's big in printing for 2021/2022?

We are seeing a huge trend with blind impressions and embossing. They make a "wow" statement and show off the printing craftmanship that our designs offer.

Custom wax seals and coloured envelopes are making a huge comeback as they are the finishing touches to a refined stationery suite.

Do you service all of Australia?

We work with couples across Australia and New Zealand.

And finally, how far before the wedding day do you require a couple to get in touch with you?

If you are after "Save the Date" cards, we recommend you get in touch with us as soon as you book your venue.

For the broader set of invitations, we recommend getting in touch at least 6 months prior to the wedding date.
